Intel to Buy S3 Stake ---
Intel Corp. plans to purchase warrants for shares in the graphics chip supplier, and the
two companies have entered into a 10-year cross licensing agreement. The terms of the stock acquisition were not disclosed.

S3 said the cross licensing agreement covers all semiconductor-relatedpatents, including current and future general-purpose processors, buses and graphics technology.
